Of the numerous piping systems around the world, many are found In sub-grade, sub-slab or sub-floor environments. By its nature, such piping is often utilitarian, requiring little attention or maintenance. There are situations, however, where on-site manual control of the "flow below" is either necessary or preferred. While automatic valves might certainly meet the spec, their cost could be excessive in terms of the relatively simple control function required. Historically, the answer to such conditions has been the Floor Stand. Installed at ground, slab or floor level, floor stands provide convenient manual control of the valving within the subterranean piping network.Roto Hammer understands the nature of Floor Stands and offers the finest casted, most competively-priced product available today! We offer a full line of Floor Stands with or without indicators. All stands are of high quality cast iron and when properly fitted will operate both rising and non-rising stem valves. If desired, Roto Hammer Floor Stands can be used in combination with Roto Hammer Gear Operators.Standard Models FS100 and FS6-30Roto Hammer Floor Stand sizes are correlated to the OEM handwheel diameter of the valves they operate. The smaller of the two standard models, FS100 is recommended for valves with 4" to 12" handwheels. The larger model FS6-30, controls valves with handwheels from 12" to 30".
